BIOGRAPHY:
After the members of former band Church Bizarre had burned out, several of the former members decided to create a new band that focused on a more old-school, ugly and grim death metal style. Already being JBP (vocals), C. Norgaard (bass), A. Larsen and H. Engkjer (both guitars), only a drummer was needed to complete the line-up. C. Johansson, who had already proven his old-school capabilities with bands like Karnarium and Pagan Rites, filled in the drum-position, and the Danish/swedish line-up was complete. Thus Cerekloth was born in early 2008. After just a few rehearsals in Copenhagen and Gothenburg the band went to Error Studios to record its first release - the "Pandemonium Prayers" 7" EP for the Swedish death metal label Blood Harvest. In spring 2009 the band parted ways with guitarist H.Engkjaer and drummer C.Johansson . New replacements were found in the shape of with M.Adsersen (ex Crucifix) on guitars and Jarro Raphael (Nocturnal Graves, etc) on drums. Currently the band is hard at work crafting material for a full length album to be unleashed via Hells Headbangers in 2010

CEREKLOTH announce Jarro Raphael (Nocturnal Graves, ex-Destroyer 666, etc) as their new drummer. Watch for the bands debut full length on HHR early 2010. As an appetizer, we will release their "PANDEMONIUM PRAYERS" EP on CD (w/ bonus) late August 2009:
No bullshit Death Metal the way it used to be played. Nothing fancy or technical here, just simple, catchy, non compromising, evil death worship recorded at Necromanteion Studio (Funeral Winds, Infinity, etc). This CD edition has the correct sounding audio (master audio to vinyl output sounded dodgy), and features an improved layout/artwork plus 1 exclusive bonus track not available on the 7" EP. Played in the fucking graveyard by members of VICTIMIZER, KARNARIUM and more.
